Site Based Support

Each SFUSD School, K–12, has a Math Content Specialist (TSA) liaison attached to them as a resource.
Download the Elementary and K–8 TSA Liaison list here and the Secondary TSA Liaison list here.

In Elementary Schools, Math Leadership Teams design and support site collaboration and learning structures. The Elementary and K–8 TSA Liaisons support this work. Online resources available include the Math Teaching Toolkit, which includes Professional Learning Modules and resources for Collaboration Planning.

The Middle School Math Content Specialist / Coaches are working with our comprehensive middle schools across SFUSD to help them achieve mathematically powerful classrooms by helping their staff implement the Core Curriculum in heterogeneous classrooms, help facilitate site collaboration, and increase student discourse.

Complex Instruction schools participate in a combination of intensive coaching cycles, Collaboration days, Teacher Facilitator meetings, and Video Club.
