Accessing Core Curriculum Units through the SFUSD Math Portals

The Math Portals allow teachers to access unit plans and resources, and allow students to access digital versions of the student pages. If you are an SFUSD employee, you may also join our discussion forums for each grade level and course via Google Classroom here.
The Elementary Curriculum, Grades PK–5, is available to the public under the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY) that permits anyone to copy, revise, remix, and distribute the work, as long as SFUSD is credited for the original creation. More information here: About the SFUSD Elementary Math Core Curriculum
If you are using or planning to use our PK-5 curriculum, please fill out this short feedback survey. Thank you!
The PK Curriculum is available under the Creative Commons Attribution license.
The TK Curriculum can only be shared within the district. Stay tuned for an anticipated OER release.

In addition to our Math Portals, we are able to share the following documents that we have developed:
  • The Unit Template that developers used to build the units that make up the Core Curriculum.
  • The Math Teaching Toolkit, which contains strategies for teachers, grades K–12 and also guided the unit development.
  • The position paper about the secondary course sequence, adopted by the Board of Education in January, 2014.
  • The SFUSD Math Core Curriculum Multilingual Glossary of Terms
